Like previous versions of FF, 3.5 has an option
(Tools=>Options=>Privacy) to automatically clear your history when you
close FF. This can be useful for secure, Web-based apps where you want
users by default to clear their history.
If I'm not mistaken, the previous versions of FF had an additional
option that would warn the user before their history was cleared -- I
don't see that additional option in 3.5.
