There are two purposes for language - communication and identity. It's often important to use just a bit of jargon to convey to the customers that you are, in fact, "one of them". It should never get in the way of clear communication, however, but this doesn't seem to be the problem here.

I would say that using jargon is good to the extent that the reader is going to be thinking that way and no further. If it helps establish identity AND speaks to the reader in a way that they will relate to better, it's a win.
