I recently received a solicitation in the regular (postal) mail from Communications Concepts, Inc., about submitting an entry for the APEX awards. Not having heard about them before, I ask what folks here think of this award. I Googled APEX awards and see that yes, it's "out there", but is it an award for the sake of an award or does it really carry considerable prestige.
In any event, times are still tight even though I'm still employed so I won't be forking out the $89 per entry.
