My BSc in Communication led me to study (among other things, and this
is from memory so quite incomplete):
* info design
* rhetorical analysis
* programming
* basic/intro engineering courses (MechE, ChemE, EE, BioE, CivE, etc.)
* physics
* advanced algebra, calculus, trig
* visual arts
* electronic arts
* CAD
* lit (classic, modern)
* project management
* scientific writing
* what today we'd call "minimalist documentation"
* basic/intro management courses

Not too far off.
