Perhaps a simpler approach might be: "Our company strives to always
follow the highest legal, ethical, and safety standards. If anyone at
the company ever asks you to do anything that raises legal, ethical, or
safety concerns, express your concerns to your immediate supervisor. If
you still have concerns after receiving a supervisor's response, express
your concerns to that person's supervisor. Use your good judgment in
considering the harm that might result from following an incorrect
instruction on the one hand and from delaying a correct instruction on
the other. Always be forthright, direct, and polite in these exchanges,
and document them for your future reference."
