Hello,

I am working in FrameMaker 7.2. I imported a Word doc that contained tables into Frame.

If a table runs on to the next page, I want the table heading repeated. To do this in Frame, I click in the table heading, then go:
1. Special menu
2. Variable
3. Table Continuation

Since these table were imported from Word, Frame won't let me do this. When I select Table Continuation, I get this message:

"To insert a table variable, put the insertion point in a table's title, heading, or footing."

Obviously, Frame doesn't seem to recognize the heading of the imported table as being a heading.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Keith
