Too bad about Type and Curse. LOL. I can see how that could be
frustrating if you use keyboard for everything.

I guess I never really thought about it since I moved away from using
Start Menu ages ago when MS allowed folders of shortcuts on the task
bar. I keep collections of tools I use all the time in these folders
in a system that predates Mac OS X "Stacks".

Have you thought about assigning shortcut keys to the apps you use all
the time? Takes less time than Windows-key Tab, and is a built-in
Windows feature. I used to use a free program called "Shortcut Map" to
assign program shortcuts without conflicting with others that existed
(it probably hasn't been updated for Windows 7).
