You say that she's a good writer, and she's learning how to interpret
text that was poorly written by others. Sounds like good practice for a

So frustrating. My daughter is in high school. She encounters poorly
written questions all the time, and they often throw her for a loop.
She expresses herself carefully, and when others do not, she assumes
they mean what they say rather than what they clearly meant to say.
