Most likely comes from some sort of executive "vision" committee, handed
down through HR.

My belief is that I need to ear regularly, and I am very passionate
about seeing deposits in my checking account.  If companies like Google
offer some mighty tasty snacks to go along with their Kool Aid, so as
long as I know they're not trying to conceal any toxic ingredients, I'll
have a double, please, and will be happy to serve another round for the
folks sitting at my table as long as they're getting a tray of goodies too.
