Yes you can use Format Painter across docs, especially if you want to
royally mess things up!
These problems are easier to solve when the docs are in hand. But more
shots in the dark: Keep together, keep with next, other widow/orphan
control...
Then there's always copying the document, pasting as plain text, and going
through the fun all over again!
