You've been extremely helpful! And I've just checked out from the Apple
Store :-).
(Now to get a client so I can pay for this monstrously expensive machine! At
least I signed up for the deal they've got with Barclay for 18-months' free
financing. Guess that's the only way Apple would be able to sell these
things now. $220 bucks just for an extra power adapter to tote in my
backpack, and the NOT included but necessary charge cable and extension
cable. That's right -- the "power brick" no longer comes with the cable and
extension cord that my old, 2010, model did. And yes, the plug into the
MacBook changed, so no reusing the old one.)
But, now I don't have to slink in with my old machine and endure people's
pitying looks :-).
