Hi Chris,

I think you need G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Work). At least thatâs
how I use Gmail with my domain. I donât have a mail server of my own and I
donât use the e-mail services of my domain registrar.

If you have not registered your domain through Google itself, which is the
case for me, you need to verify that you own the domain first. See this
support doc:
https://support.google.com/a/topic/1409901?hl=en&ref_topic=2716886

Second, you need to set up MX records in your domainâs DNS settings, which
is described here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/140034

I think not all domain registrars provide the necessary access to the DNS
setting or might charge extra for it.

Best regards,
Thorsten
