Subject:Google Season of Docs? From:Matt Danda <mdanda -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 28 May 2019 13:29:59 +0000 (UTC)
I just stumbled across the Google "Season of Docs" program. It appears to be a call for Technical Writers to assist Open Source projects, with a stipend involved.
On one hand, it acknowledges the importance of (and difficulty in!) creating good documentation. On the other hand, it is asking writers to lend their hand at discounted rates. So I'm cautiously optimistic. Your thoughts?Â
