One of the many interesting pieces of TW trivia I encountered recently was
that Thomas Edison employed Ray Cummings as a personal assistant and
technical writer from 1914 to 1919.
Ray Cummings was a famous pulp science fiction writer.
I am trying to do some research into his work for Thomas Edison. What
exactly did he do for Edison? Which inventions did he document? What were
his reasons for transitioning away from technical writing and what was it
like?
Biographical information on the internet is very sparse so any leads would
be appreciated.

Thanks,
Yehoshua
