This was the first version: "Microsoft Publications Style Guide. Version
1.0. (Redmond, WA: Microsoft Corp, 1991)" as cited in the
Boggan/Farkas/Wellinske book Developing Online Help for Windows. I've heard
rumors that there is a second version, but I've never even seen any copies
of the first version, and it hasn't been available from Microsoft Press, I
guess because it's the internal style guide. There are commercially
available interface guidelines, but that's a different story. Anyone else
know anything about this?
