For starters, almost every ATM (automatic teller machine, that is) in North
America is running OS/2 (many have a 2MB or 4MB 386 inside with OS/2 1.3 on,
although I'm told some ATM makers, most notably NCR, now run at least 2.1,
with new machines using Warp). Most airlines' reservations systems are
OS/2-based. OS/2 is actually visible on-screen for a pharmacy's TV ads here
in BC (they're showing off their link to the PharmaNet system via a TN3270
terminal under OS/2). BC Tel and BC Hydro have a large proportion of OS/2
systems. Canada's largest chartered bank, The Royal Bank, also uses it almost
exclusively, as does the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and no doubt some
others I'm not aware of.

No version of Windows (or anything else, for that matter) is likely to
displace significant numbers of *nix-based systems for Internet providers
anytime soon...
