WOW! Was that a powerful Effect! Such Power in these keyboards!

Sincere apologies to all for wasting your time and money. Sincere
apologies to OK.STATE.EDU for wasting resources.

Just about 2 minutes after I hit the GOOD TIMES Send button, our
hawk-eyed, lightning-reflexed Sysadmin broadcast the hoax denial.

I knew I was in for it.

I desperately mailed Eric to stop my virus post. But Murphy and his
in-laws struck! Two reboots later, I got the message off. I was hoping
that the same glitches (LAN drops) had also killed my virus post.
I was hoping Eric would see my second kill message. I was
hoping the Net would crash. Anything.

Ah, the wisdom of the off-topic rules! I shall observe the letter and
spirit. Except for my customary sigs.

Thanks to all for being considerate in your responses! May all *your*
incoming flames be as easy to read as these were for me.

Best Regards to a great group of individuals,

Dick Dimock The original Seuss Newbie, He of the
Lightning Keyboard. Old Crowbreath.
Now y'all get some inkling of what life
is like at

AT&T GIS where we are trying to evolve above
the Knee-Jerk response process yet
ofttimes succumb, in stark contrast to
laid-back, unflappable

El Segundo, CA Where the GOOD TIMES roll. At a
respectable RPM.
