Hi, I'm an independent contractor who works out of her home 4 days a week. I
use America Online currently to communicate by email, and use other WWW
services. I'm considering changing over to another provider where I would
direct access to the net, disk space for a Web page or two and be able to use
Netscape, etc. I think this could be very helpful in my work as a tech
and feel America Online might be ok for a beginner to the internet but I am
interested in a lot more!

can you give me any pros and cons on using one service over another? And
if you've used America Online, can you give me any reasons to stay with aol?
I live in York Maine, but all my clients are in Massachusetts, so if any of
you are from the general New England area, I'd like to know if anyone is
