A moderated list would be a different animal altogether. The prospect of
having my questions delayed, edited, transferred elsewhere, or even rejected
by someone with a different agenda would largely discourage me from posting.

I say NO to a moderated list - I like being able to say what I want to say
when I want to say it.

As a despiser of self-appointed officialdom, I would also be inclined to
suspect the motives of anyone who put themselves forward to do the moderating.
