Actually, as one of the folks who signed on to Eric's list not too long
after he created it, I have often marveled at his restraint and
There is an incredible amount of work that went into getting this
list up and running, and an incredible amount of work that keeps
it running. As far as I know, this is purely volunteer on Eric's
part. He does all of this as a service to all of us.
And to repay him, more often than not, we respond like a whole
bunch of whiny, spoiled brats.
Do this: figure out how the search mechanisms on the TECHWR-L
archives work. Request every post that was directed at Eric
and all of the subsequent traffic.
When you've finished with that I'm sure you'll have a much
more charitable view. He's not _yet_ worthy of canonization,
:-) but he certainly shouldn't have to put up with all of
