artisans. I think we can do better.

Ah! Artisans! Is that your euphemism for lower-class beings of
inferior ability?

In my book, to be called an 'artisan' is a very high accolade for
someone who is skilled and productive.

In what way do we count as able to 'do better'?

What are your suggestions for alternative terms?
