Holiday Greetings fellow tech writers!

The writers here at Tivoli are in the process of researching SGML tools. One of
our newest requirements is to deliver SGML as an output. So far, we have
identified two potential tools: Frame+SGML and Adept Editor from Arbortext. I
was wondering if any of you have used either of these tools and, if you have,
how you felt about them. In addition, if you are currently using another SGML
tool, let me know what it is and how you feel about it.

A little background info:

We are currently working in Frame 4, so one of our concerns is translating our
legacy documentation. In addition, we want the tool to be supported on the
major UNIX platforms (AIX, HP, Solaris, Sun) as well as NT. We are aiming at
delivering online docs (Dynatext, for now and HTML soon), online help (RTF based
for now and HTML soon (?)), troff (for UNIX man pages), and hardcopy.

Any help or comments are greatly appreciated.

Please reply privately to danm -at- tivoli -dot- com -dot- If there is enough interest, I will
post the results to the list after compiling them.
