The Student Chapter Development Committee is working on a "toolbox" of
ideas/suggestions for student chapter leaders and advisors.

The materials would not be printed up in yet another manual (we all
agree on this), but rather on the Web, accessible through the STC

Assuming you think this would be a good idea (but give your opinion
regardless), what information do you think would be helpful?

What are some of the major problems you deal with that could be
covered in this collection?

Here's an idea to get us started: how about a collection of
quotations, from current advisors? These would deal with the good,
bad and ugly of the job.

For example, "Advising a student chapter is like putting socks on an
octopus: once you get one segment under control, something else goes
