I'm not sure where I got them from (this was at least 5-6 years ago), but I
have a bunch of pages that come from Microsoft, and that contain all those
"lovely computer terms" in 10 languages, besides English. This is how I know
that a "scroll bar" is called "rullefelt" in Norwegian, "barre de
défilement" in French, "barra de desplazamiento" in Spanish, and yes,
"bildlaufleiste" in German.

You should be able to get these sheets from Microsoft, even if they don't
print them any more (God knows why they wouldn't...!). I do quite a bit of
technical translation, and I still often use these sheets. They are are
precious. They contain all menu commands, window areas and elements
(borders, scroll bars, rulers, buttons, cursors, etc.), and also all kinds
of Windows-related terms, such as folder, drop-down menu, checkbox, tool,
portrait/landscape, case-sensitive, etc., etc.

Sorry I couldn't help more. Hope you find them at Microsoft. Perhaps you
should tell us what to order when you do find them. I wouldn't mind getting
an updated copy myself. Good luck.
