Informally (and in my head) I pronounce it as "tech whirl". It flows so
nicely, compared to any other possible pronunciation, in my opinion.
Otherwise, I call it the Technical Writers Mailing List.

A while back, some list members got into quite a frenzy about being
referred to as "techwhirlers". Let's not get into that again!
