I receive Microsoft Office tips from the address at the bottom of this
post. Try it; you'll like it.

HERE'S TODAY'S TIP.

And now for today's tip...

MICROSOFT OFFICE
The Office 97 Service Release, a whopping 7MB download
requiring some 30MB of free disk space, aims to make Word 97
backward compatible with earlier versions, to enhance e-mail
support for Outlook 97, Snapshot technology in Access, and
support for Intel's MMX technology. It is available free at

http://www.microsoft.com/office/office97/servicerelease

The patch was removed between August 15 and August 25 to fix a
rare problem that could prevent Word 97 from saving changes
when editing an existing document. If you downloaded the patch
between August 6 and August 15, return to the same URL for
instructions on how to download an upcoming "baby patch" to fix
the glitch.
