I need to capture screens from our company's software product, which
runs in DOS (we will be migrating to Windows or NT, but for now, it's
DOS). Because of the way the software is written, we cannot use the
Print Screen key. I own HiJaak software but there are some technical
difficulties which prevent using that. Screen Thief from Nildram .
.

I also have to document DOS apps. I use Fullshot, from Inbit Inc.
(sales -at- inbit -dot- com). I've used it for several years and it works great,
but you'll need to be able to your app in a DOS box within Windows (any
version). You'll have the option of saving in a wide variety of
formats, and if you want to save as black & white, you can configure
which colors get turned to black and which to white. When I ran
strictly DOS (way back before Windows 3.1) I used EPScreen, from Legend
Communications (in Ontario, Canada, as I recall). But it saves only as
.eps files.

Fell free to write me if you need more info.
