For some reason, my career advances seem tied to major holidays. Last

This is the third or fourth time I've had the offer from a place where
I've worked as a contractor, but this one is extremely tempting.. I'd be
doing original and challenging work. I've have control over most of my
work. The location is convenient, the company informal but
business-like, and I'm very compatible with the people I have to work
with. Benefits and salaries are good, too -- almost embarrassingly so.
Moreover, I feel it time for a change in my life.
However, I've been a contractor for the last two years, and, before
that, I was a contract instructor at a university for seven years. So,
while I'm pleased and flattered to get the offer, I'm hesitant to take
