It seems to me that, while we all have our favourite fonts (mine is
Curlz - very pretty, but not real readable!), maybe a point to consider
is usability. Are there any usability studies which have determined the
fonts that are best for printed documentation, and the fonts that are
easier to read online? I have heard that Times New Roman is used for
readability in paper docs, while Verdana is best for readability in the
online medium. While I am not keen on Times New Roman (a little
boring), I know heaps of people who insist on it because of it's
purported usability.
