John,

I use Windows NT Workstation 4.0 daily and experience no problems running
applications software such as CorelDRAW!, Visio, PageMaker, and so on. Only
tired old MS-DOS applications have refused to run.

Overall, it seems a bit more stable for me than Windows 95.

You indicated that you would install Windows NT 5.0. 5.0 is still in beta;
I would not trust it in a production environment. I don't completely trust
any Microsoft OS until after the first service release. My advice is to
stick with NT Workstation 4.0.

Good luck,

Jim Van Winkle
