INDEX-L (indexing list)
To subscribe to INDEX-L, send a note to listserv -at- bingvmb -dot- cc -dot- binghamton -dot- edu
with the subject line blank, and with a note that says subscribe index-l
firstname lastname (with your own first and last names). No other
information should be added to the body of the message. You will receive
confirmation of your subscription shortly thereafter. (The process is the
same for unsubscribing, except that the word subscribe should be replaced
with signoff.) To get a list of other commands that can be used with this
listserv, write to the same address and include the command info refcard in
the body of your message.

Indexing (not sure of title) by Nancy Mulvany is one of the major works
and a book by Welch (?) - I left my brain at home today -

Handbook of Indexing Techniques : A Guide for Beginning Indexers"
Linda K. Fetters / Paperback / Published 1996
