Dear Anon,

This, too, shall pass! The time will come in the not-too-distant future when you look back on this with mild amusement.

But you can make it pass a lot more quickly by getting organized and going after the problem. Solve it! Don't wait with trepidation for the next incident to occur. Get organized and go on the offensive. Get your written evidence and collection of witnesses and go after this wench! Why live with the crap one more day when you don't have to? What you're experiencing there is blatant harassment, which is in violation of most written company policies and is also against the law.

I think it's imperative to show your feelings in situations like this, but be sure you are rational when you do it. You can yell, but try to resist the temptation to hurl objects or unsavory epithets. If you are too calm and surgical about it, maybe your manager won't get the message that there's a real problem here that's affecting the company and you. Make sure your manager understands you're not about to endure one more minute of this BS and that immediate action on his part is imperative.

George Mena gave you the best advice I've heard in a long time. Rarely have I read the truth delivered with such purity!

Good luck, and please keep us posted!
