I probably have a much more simple situation than you do but here's
what I do:

I just wrote a doc for a program that is already in use (though not
broadly, yet) and so I had the tech support guys give me a list of
questions that they heard alot regarding the program.

I took those real-life questions and put them in a section just for
Case Studies and then answered, step by step, what to do in that
situation. I added a touch of humor here and there so that the user
wouldn't feel like a complete goober for worrying about the problem.
:) It was important for me to convey the fact that *everyone* has
questions and problems. Misery loves company, doncha know...
