I concur. In addition, as someone who has been in on hiring decisions, as
well as writing up job descriptions and announcements, I find the job
postings to the list quite useful. Over time, I've found several job
descriptions with apt phrasing that I can "borrow" for our job write-ups.
I'm grateful to the different people who have helped us (unbeknownst to
them) word our announcements more clearly and with greater accuracy. (After
all, a good job announcement should/can help target good responses.)

Anyway, just my two cents. I'm grateful to the original poster for pointing
out this site. It provides more information to consider/incorporate in
future job descriptions and announcements. We often have such nebulous jobs
as tech writers; our jobs require such diverse skills and traits that it can
be hard to get a handle on them and describe them accurately. Besides, I
write about software, not human resources matters--I need all the help I can
get! ; )
