Achievers is a placement service. We currently have a client in need of nine
experienced Technical Writers for an office in Montreal. Bilingualism is a
must. Preference given to those who can write end-user documentation in
French.

Job description as follows:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Write documentation for SAP applications.
Develop/write training materials

Submit all materials to be checked for standards and content (SAP content
and appropriate business information).

Deliver training for SAP applications.
Communicate with client contact when necessary.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: Immediate Supervisor: Project Manager or Project Leader
Titles of jobs reporting to this position: None

Job Specifications
SKILL FACTORS
Education: Degree / Diploma an asset.
Degree / Diploma in Technical Writing an asset.
Course work in Adult Education an asset.
Experience: Experience with many software applications for the design of
documents.
Experience with technical writing for applications.
On-line documentation experience an asset.
Experience with training (not necessarily on applications).
Experience with business procedures an asset.
Good knowledge of written and spoken French an asset.

EFFORT FACTORS
Working Conditions: Travel to different client site for each project (which
may require
staying out of town over night).
Work in CMC or client office and classroom setting.
Flexibility required to adjust to working independently and in a team
setting.
Training: Training required on CMC course development and documentation
standards.
SAP training required.

researching, designing or analyzing training programs

Presents training and development programs by:
identifying learning objectives, utilizing CMC instructional methodologies

Reinforces learning by:
selecting and utilizing training media

Evaluates training and development effectiveness by:
assessing application of learning; recommending future training styles and
programs

Prepares training and resources materials by:
identifying purpose; assembling and composing information
using initiative when working with BPM?s/generic CMC files and system

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by:
attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
