Hi, Susana,

I've faced the same question. What I've done is this:
* Remove all quotes. Capitalize and punctuate all screen element names
exactly as they appear in the program.
* Set button names, key names, icon names, etc., in small caps, Times
Roman 10 pt. (body text font)
* Set dialog and window names, in small caps, Times Roman, bolded, 10
pt.
* Set typed commands in 10 pt. Ariel, bolded, on their own line below
an introductory line such as "Type the following:"
* Set generic terms inside commands (e.g., "username" for an actual
user's name), in italics, not bolded.

It sounds busy, but typed commands are almost never on the same page as
button or dialog names.
