Information Developer (Full-Time) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Join our Winnipeg documentation and training team to write customer
documentation and training materials for Nortel Network's BWA (Broadband
Wireless Access) Reunion products. You will collaborate with product
development, product management, and product verification teams to research
and to document new products and features as they are developed. You are
responsible for a specific technical area of the document suite, planning,
writing, ensuring technical accuracy, and working with the team to achieve
high content quality.
Reunion is a point-to-multipoint wireless communications solution. It
delivers full voice, data, IP and video digital services at microwave
frequencies from 2 GHz to 42 GHz to provide a 'last mile solution' for
existing communications networks.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Five years of writing and/or instructional design in
technical environment, preferably in wireless or digital communications
technologies. Experience with desktop publishing software such as Framemaker
would be an asset.
EDUCATION: A relevant technical degree or diploma complemented by writing
skills or a BS or BA in English, journalism, instructional design or
technical writing, or equivalent experience.
