Marvel at my stupidity

When confronted with anything particularly unfair or cutthroat, my
friend Erin would shrug and say philisophically "Well, it's a doggie dog
world." I always kind of liked that.

I plan to add it to my list of misheard/misinterpreted words and phrases
that make a kind of sense anyway. "For all intensive purposes" is
another one I've seen recently. I see "mute point" every once in a
while. "Low and behold" mostly just bugs me.
