Was it really necessary to go to such lengths to embarrass the lister? I
think everyone but you understood what was intended. The lister was asking
for advice, not a diatribe on the finer nuances of the English language.
How about providing some genuine assistance next time instead of simply
flexing your ego?

I, for one, am thankful that I don't need to look to you for "encouragement."
