1. Realize that if you're going to preserve a corporate image, no matter how
much training you provide, somebody like you will have to edit the documents
before they are sent to the customers. Writers who speak English as a
_first_ language get it wrong. (There's plenty of evidence in the archives
<grin>.)
2. Take a close look at existing books and courses on Business Writing
before you 'reinvent the wheel.' Some of these materials focus specifically
on letters or memos or reports so you could pick a few to use for your
purposes.
3. I agree with "Scottie" that business writing and program writing are two
different domains. You rarely find people who are skilled in both domains.
(When you do find them, treasure them.)
