How do you correlate the notes that you are taking for your work
and the notes that you are taking for them.

I find that when I'm taking notes for me, a third is what is
going on in the meeting and the rest is thoughts, comments,
mental alarms, and stream-of-consciousness scribbling on
thoughts I have while discussions are going on.

To take notes for the others means you are obligated to take
notes so that the notes have to be information that they need
even if I don't need it.

I'd much rather be in the meeting because it strengthens the
product and not because I'm "bribing" them with a task that only
makes their life easier.
