Thank you Geoff.

I had already lettered each toolbar and numbered each icon in the exploded

You helped me figure out how to refer to each item I wanted to describe.
I placed a note:
o by where I first reference the graphic
o and just below the graphic

The note:
o stated what the letters meant i.e, toolbar C
o stated what the numbers meant i.e, icon 4
o and how the icons would be referred to in the cross-reference i.e.,
icon B4

For your information the graphic I created was a screen print with 5
toolbars with a total of 29 icons.
