Along similar lines to this discussion, tommorrow I am having a 2nd interview
for a position I think I want . While far from positive, I certainly have reason
to believe that I will offered the position. Its for permanent employment which
is what I want, but I do have a contract at the moment, so no one is going to
starve if I don't take the position.

The Manager hasn't quoted a salary yet, but told me that the compensation was on
the low end of my salary range (I gave the recruiter a salary range before the
process began). Any recommendations on negotiating salary at this stage. I would
not mind "only" getting the low end of my range, but am concerned about what to
do if they offer me a bit below my minimum (they have already told me what a
good bonus plan I might get, as well as other benees).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Dave
