When you saved the file, did you use spaces in the file name? Such as: My
Cool Screen.GIF? PSP 5 doesn't handle spaces, but the rest of the World
has become accustomed to using spaces when creating file names.

If you did use spaces, rename the file removing the spaces:
MyCoolScreen.GIF
