Hello all,

I've been lurking for a few months. I appreciate the insights I've gleaned.
Now, I have a question relevant for the list.

I have a client who wants to convert from PDF to HTML. They are
unfortunately (at least to the best of my knowledge) under the assumption
that this can be done non-manually.

I explained to them that asking a program to convert data from PDF to HTML
is analogous to constructing a building using only a picture of a building.

Question 1: Am I correct or is there a program that can capture PDF and
convert to HTML code?

I anticipate that the client will still want the conversion and will be
willing to adjust their time and money expectations to accommodate manual
conversion. Which leads me to . . .

Question 2: Which method would you recommend to convert PDF to HTML?

In advance, many thanks.
