It's funny, but I've heard people around here say that Austin is THE place to be (or at least before the Dot Bomb crash they were saying that), and it's a much prettier place than Sunnyvale. The music scene (although largely overrated) is pretty good too. Sometimes quality of life just has to play into it.

BTW, thanks a lot for that subject line, Andrew, now I can't get Jello's voice out my head. <g> (At least it's not Whitney Houston.)
