These are all good suggestions, and I'm a big advocate of ergonomic
keyboards (I may even switch to the Dvorak) and mice. My suggestion is
particularly easy and cheap: Switch mousing hands.

I now use my left hand for all "crude" mousing tasks. This means
anything but detailed graphic creation. I might have suffered a slight
reduction in productivity (I'm, say, 10-15% slower with that hand), but
I compensate for this by learning critical keyboard shortcuts. For
example, F8 applies character styles and F9 applies paragraph styles in
FrameMaker. This is so much faster than the mouse-to-dropdown-box and
hunt-for-style strategy. I'm sending this mail by typing CTRL+ENTER
instead of mousing all the way up to the corner of the screen and
clicking Send. It makes a ton o' difference. Thanks. DB.
