Pagemaker is not anything like Framemaker. Pagemaker is a
page-oriented desktop publishing tool. Framemaker is a long document
processing tool. Pagemaker is very much NOT a tool for documentation,
in the same way that Quark isn't. If someone is doing final layout,
Pagemaker might be appropriate (if overkill) for documentation.
Pagemaker gives page-by-page layout control. Frame works on whole
documents.

If the person who set up the Pagemaker file knew what they were doing,
you should be able to slurp of the text out (styles and all) and paste
them into Word. Click on a text block with the text tool, Select All,
Copy, switch apps, Paste.

If the person did it badly, you'll have to do the above for ever
little text block.
