It's an accurate term from a technical viewpoint.
You have to decide whether your users are technical enough to understand
it. If your users will be mostly programmers, then this is probably an
acceptable term. If your users are less technical, then an alternate term
might be preferable.

Some things to consider:

- folder
- expandable folder
- er...sorry, brain is frozen

That's about it for ideas from me. I'm suffering from Friday burnout. You
can check things like the "Microsoft Manual Of Style For Technical
Publications" for more ideas. It also depends on what your GUI looks like.
Maybe the "nodes" look like rice cookers, so you can say "Click on the rice
cooker to exapnd the view."

OK, I'd better stop and get more caffeine. Good luck on the manual. And all
these opinions here are mine, not my employer's.
