Can anyone tell me if FrameMaker 7 fixes problems with text insets? I just
started using the feature with version 6, and Frame keeps adding extra
paragraphs at the end of the text insets, adds table titles to tables that are
defined as having no title, and so on. These problems make the text inset
feature of Frame completely unacceptable, and I'm finding that I may have to
maintain the same material in more than one manual without using the feature.
(Oh! The horror!)
My boss is talking about upgrading software next month (in the new quarter),
and I need to know whether to recommend a FrameMaker upgrade.
